Health & Safety Requirements:
- All guests are required to wear a mask (covering nose & mouth) while you are on Sutton Public Schools campus. Guests who fail to comply with this requirement will be asked to leave the event.
- All guests must pre-register. Please refer to the email sent out on May 14th for how to register your guests.
- Young children who are able to walk will be counted as one of the six (6) guests each graduate is allowed for the event. Babies who cannot walk may be held on an adult lap and will not count towards the Graduate’s guest list.
- There are no extra tickets. The state has allowed six (6) guests per graduate. We are not allowed to allow in additional guests. Unused seats from one family cannot be given to another.
Health and Safety Certification
Please note that your attendance at graduation serves as a self-certification that in the previous 24 hours you have not experienced any signs of a fever (or measured temp over 100.3 F), cough, or shortness of breath. You are also attesting that you have not been asked to quarantine or isolate by public health officials, and that to your knowledge you have not been in close contact with anyone experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
Live Stream
Graduation will be live-streamed for anyone who is not able to attend the event in person on our High School YouTube channel. Search “Sutton Memorial High School” on Youtube or you can find the link on the High School Website.
Arrival (Graduates & Parent/Caregivers):

- Graduates need to be on campus no later than 4:15. They can arrive as early as 3:30. Graduation will start promptly at 5pm.
- The car that will be participating in the “Rolling Rally” immediately following the ceremony should park in the St. Marks church parking lot, located off Boston Road (See Map). Staff will be on hand to assist you.
- You may be asked to wait in your car for a few minutes to avoid overcrowding the entrance area. We thank you in advance for your patience.
- After leaving your vehicle, you will be directed to our “Check in Desk” where our staff will check you in, and give you directions on how to proceed.
- There will be a “Photo station” for the Graduate and their immediate family to take a picture before the graduate enters the High School to prepare for the graduation ceremony. Click here to download photography order form
- The graduates will head into the high school where they will be lined up and given some final instructions prior to the ceremony.
- Parents and caregivers will be directed to their seats.
- Seats for guests will be assigned by lottery, so there is no need to arrive early to “save seats”.
- Staff will escort parents and caregivers from the photo station to their seat on the field.
- Restrooms (open throughout the day) are located in the high school right off of the cafeteria.

- We ask that all guests arrive no later than 4:30.
- Guests must be pre registered by the graduate’s family in order to access the event.
- No one who is not on the guest list will be allowed on campus during the event.
- Guests should park at the high school parking lot off of Putnam Hill Road. Staff will be there to assist you.
- Guests who require handicapped arrangements should park in the High School parking lot off of Boston Road. Staff will be there to assist you. (See map)

During the Ceremony:
- We ask that guests remain seated at all times.
- Guests will not be allowed to move to take pictures of the event - a photographer will be shooting the event and will provide free pictures of the event to all families. Special pictures will also be available for purchase.

- We ask that young children remain in their seat throughout the event so that social distancing requirements are maintained.
- The ceremony will start promptly at 5pm. We expect the ceremony to conclude no later than 6:30pm.
Following the Ceremony:
- Please remain in your seats at the conclusion of the ceremony.
- Staff will provide directions for graduates and their immediate family who will be participating in the “Rolling Rally”.
- Guests (those not participating in the “Rolling Rally” will be invited to leave campus immediately following the ceremony so they can find a spot on the parade route to cheer on the graduates!
